RRR "Sho Baraka" Word

RealRapReviews

Wow, powerful hook intro sort of catches u by surprise I like it. ok first verse is ok I like the feeling he puts in the begining but adding this feel on both the 1 and 2 verses especially in the starting points of those verses is not something im crazy about. I understand him changing his voice or swag but it sounds a little corny. The track is hot, I get the concept but overall every time I hear Sho Braka “on a record he sort of runs out of gas as the track progresses. By the 3 verse he sort of picks it up some. The track is hot but the verse nowhere matches the Track. Sorry hate me if u want I know it"s Ministry and powerful but overall execution Weak.

RRR " Humble Tip feat Hot Handz " Nobody this krunk

RealRapReviews

Ok first , lol sorry the hook needs help for some reason in some parts it sounds too long and kills the feel Of the record and with krunk the less words the better it all has to do with the swag . I give them points for trying. First verse is hot humble is sick, like his patterns, changes overall very hot. The hook is killing me at this point. Second verse is Hot Handz ‘s he has a whole another feel which balances out this record never heard of this cat but I will research more I like his style and changes in flow . The record has a rock feel to it which is cool. It missing a little of the things I get in the south with Krunk but overall an ok record. The Changes in Humble tips 1 and 3 verse are hot and show skill in the craft. The beat is ok, verses make this record and the feat did not outshine the main artist, which seems to happen a lot in HHH, it just that no one wants to say it.

RRR "Rswift" Awesome God

RealRapReviews

We’ll this song or hook is mad old so it’s not easy to pull this off. I like the fact that it’s a simple beat concept and it adds a different flavor to it. R swift Flow is crazy hot, so many different flow patterns, changes and the crazy thing it sounds like an anthem. It pretty simple this record is clean in so many ways I understand why it was done and also who it will impact I like the steez. Overall track is not crazy, but just enough to make it. The Major thing is it will impact kids and they will follow along which is a Plus in my book.Yeah we all know R swift can spit like a beast but the record was meant for more than u and me. Love the concept even old folks can bump to this to record.

Review ( Applejaxx ) 805

RealRapReviews

Beat is hot like the intro no talking, just straight spitting. I like apples flow especially when in certain parts he slows down and the changes on the hook keep it interesting, Flow changes are a plus. Pause on verse keep it nice .verses make u want to get to the hook which is hot, this is when applejaxx sounds best when he comes totally diffrent. The Female Kimmie is a beast no lie she sounds like that chick missy Elliot. Love her verse she make the record and adds sound hype and funky greatness to it. Overall different and fresh sound always works for me. Hottness!!

Review * Rob Hodge ( Feels good to be Home )

RealRapReviews

yo intro is official I like the drama in the intro .......wow ok this sounds like old school rob hodge wow I like this. Makes my head bop.
Real hip-hop, his flow is nice and the strings on the track carry him. Hook is catchy a little hard to understand, I like the swag and feel on the record it makes u understand I’m Rob Hodge and I’m here. Doesn’t even matter that he is Not changing the flow pattern .overall a hot street records very mixtape feel. I love the quick 2 verses and out keep people wanting to listen to more. Rob knows what he is doing as far as commercial not going to work but I doubt he even cares I would bump this in my car with crazy steez. Just to see what people response would be.

Review ( Socom Feat Mark J )

RRR

Beat is catchy all in the future type feel. Like it. Intro is weak for being that the track has a funky feel to it.
Mark j verse is cool, I wish he could of played with his voice*effect on some points. Just to go with the theme of the record.
I’m sorry socom verse is weak it sounds in some parts that he is reading a paper. I’m going to say it but this sounds like a mark j song instead of socom taking lead. Be mad if u want to. all I seem to remenber is Mark j verse and his hooks it sounds like socom is feat on his own song,
I’m just saying my bad. The beat is hot but the verses all belong to Mark J what happen to Socom,

Review (Kre8tor) Conviction

Real Rap Reviews

Straight Ministry track at times when real comes out in a record there isn’t much u can say becuz the subject matter bleeds on the record.
The beat has a real feel to it. Which is a plus. I know for sure this track is for ministry, the hook is hot, Dude is on point, and Changes at ending of verses is hot give the record a more dramatical feeling to it. Simple always works (sorry )is so key in this record I know the purpose and its hard to fight that so many people can relate, a plus this I know is not a single but very nice concept , hot record I would bump this.

Lyrical OJ Beautiful Day

RRR

Intro is ok , I get the concept of the record a laid back summer or theme track feeling great about ourselves, letting the wind blow.
the only problem I have is that this artist flow is a little weak and rhyme pattern never changes, it stays the same and the beat is still late 80"s where there isn’t any kind of changes to keep the listener amazed the message is simple but overall a filler in my book, as far as Commercial Radio ready not too sure I’m sold on this one. Sorry.

Artist : Good City Muzik

Track : This is what it is

Good city Muzik , here we go again another banger every time I hear something new its different which in my book is a plus. Ok lets start by branding I love the intro which let"s the listener know who the heck is in the house love the branding…nice intro i like the hook its short simple and tight and easy to understand. First verse is hot very different doesn't get boring at all always expected from K-nuff. The only problem now is how long can he keep up the hot 16 bars man keep bringing it..second verse I like Juan Love he has his own style. I just feel like his ryhme pattern stays the same and sometime almost at the end of his verse he seems to just try to ride it out to try to finsh with a hot last punch line…and if ur not paying attention u sort of get lost but I like his energy. Almost at the end there's a change in beat and he sort of doesn't catch it with power but it almost not noticeable. Third verse Marty has a hot verse I just feel it wasn't a closing verse for the track he should have been first and K-nuff last overall the song is sick I like everything about it ….just more one thing The production on this track is so sick but it's not mixed the right way and sometimes that makes a big different…almost a classic but just clean up the mixing on the track and make sure guys when u put such a first hot verse that the other 2 ( no dissrespect Marty or Juan Love ) the other 2 verses match up ….but I still think u guys have something different and fresh to holyhip hop ……..Im starting to fall in love with Good City Muzik !!!!

Review * Lacrae *

fnflive.com

Artist: Lecrae

Track : Dont waste your Life

Man a lot of people may not like this review but i'm very true with the purpose of Real Rap Reviews.
And that's what sets us apart from a lot of radio dj's and so called know it all. At the end of the day I didn't say I know it all, but at least I say it to u guys straight.
This song I believe is a banger but before u go crazy and just be happy to anything that Lacrae does, there a few things I didn't fall for. The song is good. The energy is off glass although I believe it goes on a upward scale and dies on the third verse. I feel and understand the concept . I was very disappointed on the comeback verse with Lecrae. To tell u the truth this guy I have been checking out for like 2 years that alot of people slept on killed him on his own single… Very true just that a lot of people are scared to say it but if u didn't read right Dwayne Tryumf murderd the verse. The guy who was suppose to run and control the song became the feat on his own single… But before u wanna fight me and not wanna read another review I was able to check out the album and I like it. Not bad, not as good as the first one (Jesus Muzik ). Please don't reply back to me telling me it's not about competition… Please I know that!!! I'm just saying what u think in ur mind believe me u wont be the first..The purpose is to better address and educate. You may agree or disagree…at the end of the day I don't believe in all the sugar coating going around…..Point blank …."RRR" I still think it's a banger, not a classic just yet. The classics are on his first CD ( Jesus Muzik )!!!!
I told you u wouldn't like me……..lol

Review * DJ Morph *

Artist : Dj Morph feat Sho Baraka

Track : Glorious

Man what an intro this track is fire as it starts with a bang. like the flavor and overall feel of the record. energy is hot not to much but just enough to keep The listener's Attention. sho baraka is ok I'm not saying he is killing it he sounds like this ny rapper i know his name is " CAMRON " LOL FUNNY IF U PAY ATTENTION HE SOUNDS JUST LIKE HIM.

BUT BACK TO THE REVIEW, BARAKA'S FIRST VERSE WORKS BUT AS WE GO TO THE SECOND SIXTEEN IT GETS VERY WEAK. FOR SOME REASON HIS RHYME PATTERN STAYS THE SAME, AND IT GET"S BORING I JUST FEEL HE SHOULD OF TIRED SOMETHING DIFFRENT IN THE SECOND VERSE , IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE SHOULD OF FINSHED THE JOB AND CLOSED IT OUT. SHO IS HOT BUT THE CASE WASN'T CLOSED ON SUCH A HOT BEAT.,...

LOVE THE PRODUCTION FOR SO MANY DIFFRENT REASONS ...AND ITS STILL HOT BUT COULD OF ALWAYS BEEN BETTER SPECIALLY THE DAY WE SEE REACH COLLABO WITH SOME FOLK HOLLERRRRRRR,,,,,,,,,,

Review " Cheno Lyfe "

Artist :Cheno Lyfe

Track : Won't Stop

fnflive

Well we're back after a long vacation, cheno lyfe "wont stop"

Energy is good intro is different and I'm feeling the echo as the song begins the intro has a nice dramatic feel to it.The voice of the singer sort of get's u to pay attention because its not the norm some smooth soulful voice it's sort of different which makes this different. The track is hot, I like the feel that it has as it takes u on a trip the flow is ok, I've never believed cheno lyfe to be the nastiest holyhiphop rapper alive he stays safe and knows his limits. Which I believe works for him. In general a well produced song that has great changes something different alot of people believe that if u don't do the norm and sort of follow current themes Ur stuff is wack. It doesn't mean ur stuff is wack it just means ur different. I like this song , I feel like I will get hated on regardless of what I review on. I like this cuz cheno lyfe sounds like no one else and maybe just a little more cuz he lives in Miami and I was born and raised here....so far everybody sort of follows a current line and I like the fact that this artist had a different approach ministry at the end is Tricky and has been overdone but for some crazy reason on this record it worked and didn't feel forced in which is a plus in my book...

Raw "Review"

Artist : Rawsrvnt

Track : Ring That

fnflive.com

Ok another ring tone track, record starts with a lot of energy, like the approach. I'm a little suspect about the flow but it works for raw if your used to listening to him. I never said his flow was the hottest, I just said it works. lol the track is hot , I like it even if u say crunk is dead, u must not live in Miami homie but the hook is catchy as heck it works for not just hood cats but for the white urban kids . People have been sleeping on raw for a minute .So I like the fact that when he makes a record he always thinks outside the box which will allways work for a long career . Point blank if u need a hot ringtone you're your phone that will last 5 to 10 seconds then u have a hot ringtone. The hook is hotter than the actual song especially the dj scratching on the hook....add the fact that it has a rock feel to it and u sort of cover a few different places. I like it because where limited on hot ringtones especially with all the hot secular one out there so based on that it hot not a classic but hot enough to put on my phone.......it 2009 homie we going mobileeeeeeeee........

Call me Review

Artist : Rey King

Track: Call Me

I got to say I was really surprise to hear this type of song from a Miami artist, especially one from my native country of DR (Maybe that's why I like him). After looking into him and listening to some of his other songs I was even more impress, he has a unique fusion that is hard to find in holy hip-hop. His single "Call Me" is a smash! Yes its auto-tuned but its actually hot and it doesn't sound as if he tried to copy the singing pattern made famous by T-Pain. The song starts with a nice melody, and has a dramatic feel that keeps your attention. A lot of people say he sounds like Lil Wayne, but most artist sounds like other cats at least the song is his own, I love the fact that its totally different in sound, lyrics and the overall approach. It's not the same old pattern that everyone and their momma use, I LOVE IT!! As far as his delivery Rey King has a new kind of swag that sets him apart song after song, Over all I got to give it up to him, now days its hard to pull of a good auto-tune song and for some reason a lot of holy hip-hop artist are using it but with no creativity… get mad if you want to, I don't care it's the truth hate if you want, I still luv u,!

Ur a Hustla Review

Artist : Whateva

Track : U.r.a Hustla

A lot of people that listen to holy hip-hop won't even give this cat the time of day because he's been on stage with 50cent but he getting to where u will probably never get and a lot of people don't understand that God has us set up for different paths. The track is called "U.R.A Hustla" the record begins a little different than most it sounds like a trance track but it picks up as the record plays. Im a little worried about the whole message but the track works follow up will be key. Hook is very catchy cuz u know u wanna say "Hustla" The record is commercial and shows a new side to holy hip-hop, I like it because its an easy record to remember and it's a feel good record. It sort of talks about the past and what we do now, why not to be a "Hustla" and the things that come with it. At the end of the song WhutEva makes sure to close it with making sure people know that he's changed. Guys at the end of the day this cat is being produced by Platinum producer Rockwilder in NYC and it looks like he has more fire coming soon so stay close! In general I think it brings a new sound to holy hip-hop sort of changes things up a bit and something new and different, not a classic but a nice record I won't get my self into trouble until I hear the album and see the follow up believe me I know what Im telling u ....
