Artist : Good City Muzik

Track : This is what it is

Good city Muzik , here we go again another banger every time I hear something new its different which in my book is a plus. Ok lets start by branding I love the intro which let"s the listener know who the heck is in the house love the branding…nice intro i like the hook its short simple and tight and easy to understand. First verse is hot very different doesn't get boring at all always expected from K-nuff. The only problem now is how long can he keep up the hot 16 bars man keep bringing it..second verse I like Juan Love he has his own style. I just feel like his ryhme pattern stays the same and sometime almost at the end of his verse he seems to just try to ride it out to try to finsh with a hot last punch line…and if ur not paying attention u sort of get lost but I like his energy. Almost at the end there's a change in beat and he sort of doesn't catch it with power but it almost not noticeable. Third verse Marty has a hot verse I just feel it wasn't a closing verse for the track he should have been first and K-nuff last overall the song is sick I like everything about it ….just more one thing The production on this track is so sick but it's not mixed the right way and sometimes that makes a big different…almost a classic but just clean up the mixing on the track and make sure guys when u put such a first hot verse that the other 2 ( no dissrespect Marty or Juan Love ) the other 2 verses match up ….but I still think u guys have something different and fresh to holyhip hop ……..Im starting to fall in love with Good City Muzik !!!!

Review * Lacrae *

fnflive.com

Artist: Lecrae

Track : Dont waste your Life

Man a lot of people may not like this review but i'm very true with the purpose of Real Rap Reviews.
And that's what sets us apart from a lot of radio dj's and so called know it all. At the end of the day I didn't say I know it all, but at least I say it to u guys straight.
This song I believe is a banger but before u go crazy and just be happy to anything that Lacrae does, there a few things I didn't fall for. The song is good. The energy is off glass although I believe it goes on a upward scale and dies on the third verse. I feel and understand the concept . I was very disappointed on the comeback verse with Lecrae. To tell u the truth this guy I have been checking out for like 2 years that alot of people slept on killed him on his own single… Very true just that a lot of people are scared to say it but if u didn't read right Dwayne Tryumf murderd the verse. The guy who was suppose to run and control the song became the feat on his own single… But before u wanna fight me and not wanna read another review I was able to check out the album and I like it. Not bad, not as good as the first one (Jesus Muzik ). Please don't reply back to me telling me it's not about competition… Please I know that!!! I'm just saying what u think in ur mind believe me u wont be the first..The purpose is to better address and educate. You may agree or disagree…at the end of the day I don't believe in all the sugar coating going around…..Point blank …."RRR" I still think it's a banger, not a classic just yet. The classics are on his first CD ( Jesus Muzik )!!!!
I told you u wouldn't like me……..lol

Review * DJ Morph *

Artist : Dj Morph feat Sho Baraka

Track : Glorious

Man what an intro this track is fire as it starts with a bang. like the flavor and overall feel of the record. energy is hot not to much but just enough to keep The listener's Attention. sho baraka is ok I'm not saying he is killing it he sounds like this ny rapper i know his name is " CAMRON " LOL FUNNY IF U PAY ATTENTION HE SOUNDS JUST LIKE HIM.

BUT BACK TO THE REVIEW, BARAKA'S FIRST VERSE WORKS BUT AS WE GO TO THE SECOND SIXTEEN IT GETS VERY WEAK. FOR SOME REASON HIS RHYME PATTERN STAYS THE SAME, AND IT GET"S BORING I JUST FEEL HE SHOULD OF TIRED SOMETHING DIFFRENT IN THE SECOND VERSE , IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE SHOULD OF FINSHED THE JOB AND CLOSED IT OUT. SHO IS HOT BUT THE CASE WASN'T CLOSED ON SUCH A HOT BEAT.,...

LOVE THE PRODUCTION FOR SO MANY DIFFRENT REASONS ...AND ITS STILL HOT BUT COULD OF ALWAYS BEEN BETTER SPECIALLY THE DAY WE SEE REACH COLLABO WITH SOME FOLK HOLLERRRRRRR,,,,,,,,,,

Review " Cheno Lyfe "

Artist :Cheno Lyfe

Track : Won't Stop

fnflive

Well we're back after a long vacation, cheno lyfe "wont stop"

Energy is good intro is different and I'm feeling the echo as the song begins the intro has a nice dramatic feel to it.The voice of the singer sort of get's u to pay attention because its not the norm some smooth soulful voice it's sort of different which makes this different. The track is hot, I like the feel that it has as it takes u on a trip the flow is ok, I've never believed cheno lyfe to be the nastiest holyhiphop rapper alive he stays safe and knows his limits. Which I believe works for him. In general a well produced song that has great changes something different alot of people believe that if u don't do the norm and sort of follow current themes Ur stuff is wack. It doesn't mean ur stuff is wack it just means ur different. I like this song , I feel like I will get hated on regardless of what I review on. I like this cuz cheno lyfe sounds like no one else and maybe just a little more cuz he lives in Miami and I was born and raised here....so far everybody sort of follows a current line and I like the fact that this artist had a different approach ministry at the end is Tricky and has been overdone but for some crazy reason on this record it worked and didn't feel forced in which is a plus in my book...

Raw "Review"

Artist : Rawsrvnt

Track : Ring That

fnflive.com

Ok another ring tone track, record starts with a lot of energy, like the approach. I'm a little suspect about the flow but it works for raw if your used to listening to him. I never said his flow was the hottest, I just said it works. lol the track is hot , I like it even if u say crunk is dead, u must not live in Miami homie but the hook is catchy as heck it works for not just hood cats but for the white urban kids . People have been sleeping on raw for a minute .So I like the fact that when he makes a record he always thinks outside the box which will allways work for a long career . Point blank if u need a hot ringtone you're your phone that will last 5 to 10 seconds then u have a hot ringtone. The hook is hotter than the actual song especially the dj scratching on the hook....add the fact that it has a rock feel to it and u sort of cover a few different places. I like it because where limited on hot ringtones especially with all the hot secular one out there so based on that it hot not a classic but hot enough to put on my phone.......it 2009 homie we going mobileeeeeeeee........

Call me Review

Artist : Rey King

Track: Call Me

I got to say I was really surprise to hear this type of song from a Miami artist, especially one from my native country of DR (Maybe that's why I like him). After looking into him and listening to some of his other songs I was even more impress, he has a unique fusion that is hard to find in holy hip-hop. His single "Call Me" is a smash! Yes its auto-tuned but its actually hot and it doesn't sound as if he tried to copy the singing pattern made famous by T-Pain. The song starts with a nice melody, and has a dramatic feel that keeps your attention. A lot of people say he sounds like Lil Wayne, but most artist sounds like other cats at least the song is his own, I love the fact that its totally different in sound, lyrics and the overall approach. It's not the same old pattern that everyone and their momma use, I LOVE IT!! As far as his delivery Rey King has a new kind of swag that sets him apart song after song, Over all I got to give it up to him, now days its hard to pull of a good auto-tune song and for some reason a lot of holy hip-hop artist are using it but with no creativity… get mad if you want to, I don't care it's the truth hate if you want, I still luv u,!

Ur a Hustla Review

Artist : Whateva

Track : U.r.a Hustla

A lot of people that listen to holy hip-hop won't even give this cat the time of day because he's been on stage with 50cent but he getting to where u will probably never get and a lot of people don't understand that God has us set up for different paths. The track is called "U.R.A Hustla" the record begins a little different than most it sounds like a trance track but it picks up as the record plays. Im a little worried about the whole message but the track works follow up will be key. Hook is very catchy cuz u know u wanna say "Hustla" The record is commercial and shows a new side to holy hip-hop, I like it because its an easy record to remember and it's a feel good record. It sort of talks about the past and what we do now, why not to be a "Hustla" and the things that come with it. At the end of the song WhutEva makes sure to close it with making sure people know that he's changed. Guys at the end of the day this cat is being produced by Platinum producer Rockwilder in NYC and it looks like he has more fire coming soon so stay close! In general I think it brings a new sound to holy hip-hop sort of changes things up a bit and something new and different, not a classic but a nice record I won't get my self into trouble until I hear the album and see the follow up believe me I know what Im telling u ....
